TAMAGOTCHI® is a registered trademark of Bandai Co., Ltd. All references to “Tamagotchi” or related marks on this site, if any, are nominative and for descriptive or comparative purposes only.

The name “Gemmagotchi” is a portmanteau coined for this project's sentient-gemstone virtual-pet concept. The project's enclosure design, firmware source code, characters, artwork, and gameplay mechanics are original works created by the project authors. Gemmagotchi runs on off-the-shelf LILYGO T-Display S3 hardware, which is not affiliated with this project.

The Gemmagotchi firmware links third-party open-source libraries (including LovyanGFX and Arduino-ESP32) under their respective permissive licenses; see the project repository for full attribution. Gemmagotchi's own source code is released under the MIT License; see the LICENSE file in the project repository for the complete terms.
